The Scene

The Scene is an Internet-only TV show. It’s a fictional story set in the world of peer-to-peer file trading and online piracy. The storytelling method is unique – it’s told mostly with video capture of chats (IRC, AIM, etc), which means you actually have to pay attention to follow the storyline.

Each episode is around 15-20 minutes long. The production schedule is a bit erratic, with an episode released around once a month. The next episode, Episode 15, is due to be released any day now.

The Scene is produced by Jun Group Entertainment, which claims to be “the only company that delivers 100% legal music, video, film, and games to the entire global file sharing community”. Apparently The Scene is only the first of many Internet-only shows to be released.
