BMW Podcast

BMW and Random House have teamed up to bring you BMW Audio Books. This is a unique series of specially- commissioned short stories showcasing the work of some of the finest contemporary writing talent.

Each gripping tale is free to download and a new book will be available every two weeks. There are already two audiobooks available : Beautiful Ride by Don Winslow and Master of The Storm by James Flint.

I’ve listened to both. Beautiful Ride is a straightforward caper story, while Master of The Storm is a long, weird car ride with you in the driver’s seat. Not surprisingly, BMW cars are featured prominently in the stories, and in the case of Beautiful Ride, a Z4 is more or less the supporting character.

It’s good to see a mainstream company experimenting with new forms of marketing, and taking advantage of the latest trends like podcasting.
