YouTube is rapidly becoming the go-to destination for Internet video – no matter what the content.  It’s actually redefining the whole concept of micro-entertainment.  From vintage cartoons to news, to mash-ups and home-made music video and short films, this is heaven for those with very short attention spans.  It’s already delivering 100 million videos per day – and there’s still no ads on the site.

Rocketboom : Boom or bust?

Rocketboom, one of the pioneering video podcasts and one of the few to have achieved financial success, currently appear on shaky grounds. Over the past week, the blogosphere has been abuzz with the split between the co-founders Andrew Barron and Amanda Congdon. She said, he said. It’s unfortunate that this high-profile fight has broken out just as video podcasting is going mainstream. With the future of Rocketboom uncertain, should we Ask A Ninja what’s next?
