Once upon a time, there was a cable TV network called TechTV. There were several shows that became favourites among the geek community, including The Screen Savers and Call 4 Help. Now the TechTV alumni are all over the podcasting world, garnering a larger audience than they have ever managed to before.

One of the more prominent post-TechTV successes is This Week In Tech network (TWiT). Led by Leo Laporte, TWiT has grown to 14 semi-regular podcasts.
