3 billion songs sold

Apple has reached another milestone with their online media superstore, the Apple iTunes Store. Just a couple years after they started, Apple has announced that they have passed 3 billion songs sold.

The Apple iTunes Store is the world’s most popular online music, TV and movie store. It has a catalogue of over five million songs, 550 television shows and 500 movies. The iTunes Store has also helped Apple sell more than 100 million iPods. After all, those songs and movies have to be stored somewhere, right?
