What do you do if nothing’s on TV? Our friends in the UK can now purchase episodes of TV shows on the UK iTunes Store. Apple is initially offering a limited choice of shows, with hardly any local content available at the start.

The BBC, ITV and Channel 4, which are already offering shows on their own services, may tie-up with iTunes in the future.

Each episode will cost £1.89 (it’s $1.99 in the US).
