Apple 16 GB iPod touch

Apple has responded to challenges from its PMP (portable media player) competitor, and completely revamped their line of iPods. Video is a big component of the new iPods, with the mid-level iPod nano gaining video capability via a 2-inch 320×240 screen. The current iPod line has been renamed iPod classic, with capacities increased to 80GB and 160GB, while maintaining the same price.

A new class of iPods, called the iPod touch, was also introduced. The iPod touch is basically the iPhone without phone capabilities. Available in 8GB and 16B capacities, the iPod touch features the same 3.5 inch 480×320 screen of the iPhone, in a slightly thinner form factor. The iPod touch has WiFi built-in. You can buy songs from iTunes directly on the iPod touch, through any Internet hotspot, and selected Starbucks stores.
