My wife and I drive a car each. We don’t have much space to park, but we can fit both cars in our garage. How long that will last, I don’t know. Over the past ten years that we have been staying in our present home, we have accumulated a lot of junk — I mean, objects of sentimental value.

Just about everyone pooh-poohed NBC’s plan to go their own way with offering TV series online. Having broken off their relationship with Apple, NBC Universal formed a joint venture with News Corp. The joint venture, called Hulu, was the object of much discussion. Now, Hulu has launched a private beta. The initial reactions are more positive than negative.

Outside of a house, the most expensive thing that you own is probably a car. Since you have spent thousands on a car, wouldn’t you want to spend just a little bit more for some protection and personalization?
