Bungie Studios, the driving force between Microsoft’s hit Halo 3, is set to move to different directions. They will be leaving the Microsoft stable and start developing other games for the XBox and other platforms.

Halo 3 is the fastest-selling video game ever, achieving $300 million in global sales in the first week alone.

The new direction is good news for gamers everywhere, especially if Bungie can maintain their quality and consistency of work. I guess after all these years, Bungie is sick of just doing Master Chief day in and day out.
