Zune versus iPod

Microsoft’s new Zune 2 has been out for a week now. While it was nowhere the runaway success of Halo 3, the new Zune holds its own against the iPod in terms of specifications and price. Engadget has a good comparison of technical specifications between the Zune and the iPod. The comparison covers both the hard drive based Zunes (versus iPod classic and iPod touch) and flash based Zunes (versus iPod nano).
