Would you pay $100 for a Zune?

Granted, the Zune would not be such a derided piece of hardware if the iPod didn’t exist. The original Zune 30GB was designed as an iPod killer, and to that end, it was a dismal failure. If you have $100 to spare, then head on over to Woot.com, purveyor of all things bargain basement. They have refurbished Zune 30s for sale right now.
If you get one, you can update the firmware so that it will be functionally equivalent to the just-released Zune 2. Offer valid while stocks last … which could be a while.
