Blackpool Pier
One of my favourite songs is “Elvis Impersonator: Blackpool Pier” by the band Manic Street Preachers. Visiting Blackpool is the quintessential British holiday getaway, and gives me fond memories : the seaside, eating ice cream cones with a stick of chocolate, and rides.
Blackpool is the oldest Theme Park in the UK, attracting well over 6 million visitors each year, from all over the world. It’s a great place to spend a lazy summer day, or a rainy afternoon. Over the years, they have added many new attractions. The more famous rides include Pepsi Max Big One, Infusion and Big Dipper.
