Is there a game console in your plans for the holiday season? If you were wishing for a price cut for the Nintendo Wii this Christmas, then you will be disappointed. Nintendo has ruled out an immediate price cut for their fast-selling Wii console.

Nintendo reported good financial results for the last quarter, primarily on the twin successes of the Wii and the DS. At US$250, the Wii is still the lowest-priced console when compared to its competitors, the Microsoft Xbox 360 and the Sony Playstation 3.
