Last month, British band Radiohead was brave enough to try out an experiment with their latest album. Fans could name their own price (even free) when downloading the DRM-free album. Aside from getting massive amounts of coverage from the press and the Internet media, how well did Radiohead do?

The annual year end holiday season is a time for families, for giving (and for forgiving) and, unfortunately, for spending. We have Christmas celebration to end the year, and a few other festivals in between now and then. Deepavali is coming up in just a couple of days’ time, in fact.

Things are getting mighty interesting in the social networking space. Just a week after FaceBook and Microsoft teamed up, everybody else seems to be springing into action. Yesterday, Google launched their OpenSocial initiative. OpenSocial is basically an application framework for social networking, just like what Facebook has. The difference? OpenSocial is open for everyone.
