You may think that McDonald’s has a pretty good idea on how to market to kids now, but everyone has to start somewhere. This is the first ever McDonald’s TV commercial, featuring the first appearance by Ronald McDonald. The fast food mascot looks a lot different than the current version. Considering a lot of kids I know actually are scared of clowns, it’s actually surprising how McDonald’s managed to sell those trillions of burgers.
