Synopsis :

Season 3, Episode 10 : The Eclipse (Part 1)

If you remember back from the beginning of Heroes, an eclipse plays a big part in the mythology and origin of our superheroes. In this episode, the dark eclipse plays havoc with the heroes’ powers. Arthur orders Elle and Sylar to bring in Claire. Hiro, Ando, and Matt follow Daphne to her hometown to learn what hold Arthur has on her, and superbrothers Peter and Nathan Petrelli travel to the Haitian’s hometown to recruit him for the war with Pinehearst.

Review :
It is ironic that the episode where the heroes lose their powers is one of the best of the season and the series as a whole. This episode gets back to what makes Heroes great – characters and their relationships. There is some action and a few doses of comedy, but this episode is strongly character driven. Ordinary people dealing with life issues. We get wonderful moments between the Petrelli brothers; Claire and Noah; Matt and Daphne; and Sylar and Elle.
