Synopsis
S05E09 Me and My Town
Carlos and Gaby find that injuries due to the fire may work to their benefit. However, others aren’t so lucky. Lynette and Tom have to protect Porter; Susan must deal with the loss of the man she loves; and Orson’s attempt to get a good night’s sleep spells disaster for Bree on the day of her big cooking demonstration.
Review
This was one of the best episodes of the series so far. All the storylines were top notch. I loved the Gaby and Carlos story about Gaby worrying that if Carlos got his sight back he would find her unattractive. Susan finding out about Katherine and Mike was priceless. The Bree and Orson snoring storyline was so funny, especially the scene at the cookery demonstration after Bree had the sleeping pills. Lynette paid off Porter’s lover and lied to the police. Even Edie had some funny lines. And of course the Dave Williams mystery continues to deepen. Phew – it was certainly an episode jam-packed with goodies!
