This is the season finale episode for Season 3.

Synopsis :
Season 3, Episode 25: An Invisible Thread
Nathan tries to prevent Sylar from meeting the President. Sylar has his own agenda regarding his partner. Hiro finds there are consequences that come with the return of his powers.

Review
This was the best season finale they show has offered. It had the drama of season 1 and the action of season 2. It also had a Manchurian Candidate-feel to it. Season 3 proved to be just as good as Season 1. I look forward to Season 4, too bad we have to wait 4 months. I hope the DVD comes out soon.

The way Nathan died proves just how quickly Sylar can off someone. He didn’t hesitate and got satisfaction from simply seeing Nathan die. Seeing how Peter was the president and counter Sylars plans was flawless. This battle was very satisfying. It proves that Peter is the stronger one between the two.

Sometime next season Sylar will piece together that he has been brain washed. When that happens Peter should have restored his powers because the two will have the ultimate duel. With this being the third go around for them, it only makes sense that both are equally powered. This duel should have the feel of the brief taste we got in “5 Years Gone”.

Heroes is the -ish!!!!

Synopsis :

Review
As before, I don’t think this show as any more to offer except for Syler… so the name for this episode was fitting… this whole show should be around Syler. I liked his encounter with rebel and the same with Nathan. The rest of the characters are not interesting… who gives a crap about Hiro and Ando… their characters haven’t developed since season 1…

I’m glad we didn’t see much of Claire…they should hide her until the finale…and Peter…same thing. Matt is getting back to himself which is good, he is a good actor and deserves better writing. I really believe that most viewers are gone and that the people who are giving 8,9,10 are the same 20 viewers that this show is left with…

Synopsis :

Angela uncovers the dark secrets of her past, while Mohinder learns of his father’s involvement in a forgotten government operation.

Review
I am a huge fan as I’m sure many others here are as well. However, this episode single-handedly zapped my enthusiasm for this series.

Angela has a flashback to 1961 and then suddenly it’s black and white which looked really bad because it’s like in high definition with no “old scratchy” quality to the picture… just in black and white… in HD. Totally lame and pointless.

None of the flashback characters were interesting or engaging. Quite the opposite. We see Dr. Suresh Sr., Mohinder’s father, who is flat and uninteresting. I tried to tune out the rest of the episode as it was just too lame to stomach. Sad day for fans.

Synopsis :
Season 3, Episode 22: Turn and Face the Strange
Someone close to Danko is put in the line of fire as he spearheads the anti-superhuman operation. Meanwhile, Noah’s marriage continues to crumble while Hiro and Ando continue their journey to save Matt. Angela faces some demons from her past.

Review
Some of my favorite scenes this week were between Sandra and Noah. Ashley Crow continues to be a dramatic force on this show, and I’m glad the writers decided to keep her on board and continue to use her. As a writer myself, I have never been a Heroes fan that constantly compares the show to season one, but this episode really felt surprising and had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Sylar continues to amaze me with his malevolence. He’s become a much more manipulative person, rather than bluntly killing his foes. And I’m so looking forward to his identity crisis in “I Am Sylar.” I love that the writers are showing real consequences to powers. Sylar is like the Sami Brady of Heroes… We want him to get his comeuppance, but we love to see him dust himself off and come back for more mayhem.

Overall, perfect 10. I still don’t understand why these episodes are rated so low.

The Bottom Line: “Well written” ….and it’s GREAT!

Actual character development, great direction and script. After seeing cold Angela Petrelli sweat for the first time last week, we are now clued in to why she had acted so in in a confession to her son Peter inside a church. Meanwhile, Nathan heads off to Mexico, after wondering why he wasn’t the one who flew in to save Angela last week, it is revealed that he took off to save Claire. Danko and Sylar form an uneasy alliance to catch a shape-shifting teacher. Sylar wasn’t shy in showing all his cards to Danko and teaching him the tricks of his trade. Scarily enough, he takes it in with comfort as him and Sylar pull a quick trick on Noah Bennett that puts the two villains in an even better position to take the heroes all on with deadly ease.
